What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. *
Life's not easy, it's not meant to be.
We need only to hold on longer
To what goodness we still can see.
Deep in even the blackest night,
There always remains a faint spark,
One small trace of still shining light,
We must find to see past the dark.
This hardship won't last, but more lies ahead.
With each trial we face, we must find,
Our thoughts of grim tides we despondently dread
Too often take over our minds.
People forget, fall away from the truth.
They assume hope prevails no more.
Once they see the light and, unswerving, persue,
They find so much to be thankful for.
Unchanging, it stays, a standard true.
It leads through adversity deep.
Be wise, seek for it, and it will find you.
Stay strong, and that light will you keep.
As misfortune o'er takes all you hold dear,
Find the good in each trial you face.
Seize it quick, hold fast, when the end feels near.
You'll make it and fears will erase.
Don't lose the light, keep it firm in your heart,
Though it can often be hard to see,
It's always there, of you it is part.
In the end, only stronger you'll be.

Individuality.
Individuality.
These days most people are other people.
Only a few templates are distributed amongst the billions.
Maybe it’s because they see themselves as less than equals.
So they base and paste their thoughts from someone else’s opinions.
Their unfulfilled lives a mimicry.
Obtaining incompatible abilities.
Altering their figures physically.
Their passions are quotations.
Their theories are past equations.
They become victims of affiliations.
Remoulding their models into the shape of their role models.
Worshipping the words of Drake, Einstein, Rhianna and Aristotle.
Pursuing the idolised physique of a manufactured Coca Col

Writing mental illness (a short guide)
When incorporating mental illness into a piece of literature, the most important tool you need to use is research. This is true whether you want the mental illness to play a large part OR a small one, and it is true whether you know someone with mental illness or not. In fact, it's even true if you have the illness yourself, because no two people are the same, and your character may display different facets to you due to contributing factors like experience and personality.
That said, research is not the first thing you should do, because before you get stuck into that research, you need to look at WHY you want to include mental illness in y

Only Human
You're walking a dark road;
So many twists and dead ends.
You've given up hope on the horizon,
but then a quiet voice begins.
It starts as a soft sound;
an echo from far away.
A rusted old broken playground
begging innocence to stay.
-You're never alone, only you can turn back from the light.
So when destiny calls you, are you going to leave the fight of your life?
*
Only human.
Some fall down on their knees when they say:
I am only human.
from life's first breath, until my final day.
*
I'm writing an open ended chapter
about the loss of plain and simple times.
I wish I could say happily ever after,
but I just can't catch

Sadly, this is the result of an essay I had to write.. AN ESSAY!! OF ALL THINGS!! Grrr..
Anyway, I have no clue why I wrote it. My mom used the word "inspired".. Not the point.. So the 1st line came to my mind (yeah, I guess there's a song like that now.. For the record, I don't listen to music. I heard that phrase from >>-C-C-> yeeeaars ago..), then I guess I somehow made it rhyme, and I just stopped in the middle of my essay and wrote a poem..
I do not do things like this..
Scriptures: (that I only discovered after writing this, sending it to my English teacher, submitting it to the New Era, etc)
Doctrine & Covenants 122:7
Isaiah 48:10 (or 1 Nephi 20:10)
*Alternate opening: "Everything you go through..."
. May be preferable if death is a touchy subject for whomever you choose to share this with.
